First, you should not forget to thoroughly explore all treasures of the spa centre. Beginning with the gorgeous parks and their promenades, the maintained flower beds, statues, and monuments. And, of course, with the therapeutic springs, of which there are more than twenty in total in Františkovy Lázně. The exceptionally popular "Amerika" forest park is located next to the pond of the same name. It is a perfect oasis for relaxation, including an educational trail, zoo corner, bird observation tower, and boat rental.

But back to the town centre, which is formed by the main promenade and a group of exceptionally preserved historical buildings with typical sunny yellow facades. The steps of most visitors (and primarily of the female visitors) lead first to the famous statue of Little František - the symbol of the town, which, legend has it, helps women achieve their dream of having a baby. Not far from it is the interesting meteorological column, as well as the mirror labyrinth, which will make you dizzy not just with laughter when you visit it.

Some of the most significant local monuments that are worth seeing is surely the Empire-style Church of the Feast of the Cross, the Orthodox Church of St Olga built to the designs of Gustav Wiedermann, the Neo-Classicist building of the Božena Němcová Theatre, and the breath-taking Imperial Spa, built in the Neo-Renaissance style. The spa town centre is also regularly serviced by the renowned “Frantovláček”, or “Franto-Train”, with the station of departure located by the František Spring. During the twenty-minute ride, you will learn much interesting information about the local history.
